OK FOLKS, I went online tonight and like most nights got "side-tracked" and put a search in for back pain + sex. Three hours of looking and only 3 articles! Then I log onto here (which is a comprehensive and nice enought site), BUT I hit the search key in this Discussion Area and find not one reference to sex and problems that people have when it comes to low-back pain. I sure would like to see some of the folks that visit here - female and male - to start a thread right here. Any one care to start - alternatives to "active sex" that you use? Pain Medications - use and if it affects your sex life? I take Oxycodone - and find it seems to at different times cause an erectile problem, and/or give me unusual long time to ejaculate. Emotionally - at different times I have found myself flustered, angry, questioning, and yes; at times on the verge of tears trying to understand where my usual normal sexual self now fitted into this "new experience". My girlfriend had been wonderful about it, but folks it had been 7 years because I shut myself out from "the ladies" because I knew right off the bat that some of the very things I am experiencing were going to happen. I sure would like to hear from those of you who suddenly found yourself in the same situation, whether that be with your wife, lover and/or new relationships. Perhaps I might hear a few other comments here... and we can really get a good "thread" going. The problems of back pain, medication and SEX....
