I know how you feel. I too have DDD now that I had surgery for a ruptured disc (L5 S1) . They did not fuse it or anything. Also they tore the dura during surgery which I leaked spinal fluid for 3 weeks. I pray that you are getting treated better than me, ( the doctors think I am crazy ) when I tell them that I am still in pain. Good luck and God Bless
