Hello! I had a lumbar laminectomy/discectomy on July 22nd. I am still having numbness & weakness of my left leg, which is making walking difficult at times, I am now walking 3-4 miles a day. Prior to my back injury I was running 3 miles every other day, now I can't & it is discouraging. I have a follow-up doctor's appointment in 2 days & will then be starting PT, I pray that this will help get my leg back up to snuff. I have not been able to jog since June 12(day my back went out) & I miss it, not to mention that this was excellent for weight control. I wish you luck with your jogging, I know how you feel. Take care.
